Team up with your family or your friends to tackle the giant puzzle of pathways that is set within 8 acres of maize. It grows as tall as the tallest person you know & probably even taller! A real brain-teaser, the maze will test your powers of deduction and navigation to the limit.

Test your navigation skills further in the mini Maze - find the finger stamps & fulfil the forfeit that awaits you...!

the main maze

Each year we have a new theme for the maze and this year we are focussing on local mini beasts. The shape of the maze is a Bumblebee.

It's a real brain-teaser, the maze will test your powers of deduction and navigation to the limit. Will you be able to find the hidden stamp points and solve the ‘Mystery of the Maze’? There are 8 stamp points to find - locate them all to conquer the maze and claim your lollipop prize.

Find your way to the ‘centre’ where you can view the beautiful Reydon marshes, home to many species of bird and quietly grazing cattle. These picturesque scenes can be witnessed from a raised walkway that takes you above the height of the Maize Maze, and enables you to see right down to the banks of the River Blyth.

Specially designed for the littler ones but a further challenge in its own right - the MINI MAZE offers a fun and exciting extra maze adventure. With finger stamp points to find, it's colourful excitement all the way!

There are five, fun, finger stamp stations to locate. Colour each finger and find your fortune on the fortune teller's board - be warned, there may be a forfeit to fulfil!

Mrs Jones, Ipswich

The two fields adjacent to the maize maze and visible from the bridge, are part of our stewardship scheme to maintain and provide habitat for all wild birds and insects.

Sown with a pollen and nectar seed mix and a wild bird seed mix, they offer a diverse habitat for our local little friends.

Later this year, we will be opening our Wild Bird Walks which start at the corner of the player area and meander down to the River Blyth, taking in the beautiful Hen Reed Beds.

We are privileged to be working alongside Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Natural England to provide access to some of England's most picturesque wild environments.

Next year sees the launch of our new cafe Old Hall Southwold. Built on the southern edge of the play area and with gorgeous views over the wilderness of the Reydon marshes - it will be an idyllic spot to enjoy a leisurely meal whilst soaking up the natural scenery.
